Did You Know God Has Plans for You?

For I know the PLANS I have for you, declares the LORD plans to PROSPER you and not to harm you. PLANS to PROSPER you and not to harm you plans to give you HOPE and a FUTURE.” Jeremiah 29:11

As we come to the close of 2020 which has been a trying year for all. I want to encourage those that might be at the end of their rope to hang on. God has plans for all of our lives. The above scripture tells that he has to give us HOPE and a FUTURE.” Question what plans of HOPE do you have for your FUTURE? I want security, love, prosperity, family, and health to name a few. I want to make a difference in the world for myself and others.

So I say bring it on 2021!!!! I am covered up and prayed up come what may because I am a joint-heir to the one that gave HIS life for me.

All Lives Matter

George Floyd
Died: 05/25/2020

As America contends with a deadly pandemic COVID 19 that has killed 371,166 as of June 1, 2020, we still have those in this world and country who believe they have a right to take a life unlawfully and take a soul because I am the law.
We make the statement that black life matters, but I serve a God that states this, And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. I have yet to see where in the bible, it states just black lives matter!
I understand the heartbreak that the nation is feeling. I am a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt of black male relations, so I get it.

However, For what shall it profit a shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? If we as a people keep giving out the same actions, we will continue to get the same results.

The parents and brother of Mr. Floyd have pleaded with America to please stop the destruction of property and saying it is the name of the deceased.
We are better than this! Stronger than this! And so much more significant than this! Let us show all who we are and whose we are!

Take a knee and pray for wisdom and guidance to overcome and be much more than conquerors.

Whose Report will you Believe?

As I write this new blog we have been inundated with news, reports, and the deaths of this silent killer called the coronavirus. It has hit the world hard and the fallout from it is far from over. As I watch TV, the news, the president, people on social media and live and in person the pandemic is not the virus but the people!

We have decided to live like the bible says even the best of us has allowed fear to set in and take root in our spirits. Everything is shutdown, closed up, lock out and seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. However I come to say that I don’t serve a died God, nor the son of man where He can lie or his word return unto Him void. It this scary sure it is, is it the end I don’t know. But I believe we will win in the end with God on our side.

Be blessed.

Beauty in Our Brokenness

Let the broken pieces be put together by God to create a Masterpiece!

Personal Testimony: You know I was just setting here thinking about even how when you feel like your heart has been shattered into a million pieces, there is no way that you will ever be the same or that you will ever heal.

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalms 34:18 About five years ago I experienced this some years back and felt like my heart would never heal and that those broken pieces would never be put back together again. However when God does what he does best he will the broken pieces of your heart and truly give you beauty for your ashes.

There is a song that says, “There’s beauty in your brokenness, I’ve got true love instead of pain, There’s freedom though you’ve captured me, I’ve joy instead of mourning.” I want to let you know that if you want it you can be healed in your heart and when God does it you know that you are that the Father says you are.

Livin’ Our Best Life

Never could God have given me a better granddaughter than

This is a story of my beautiful and wonderful granddaughter than you. I was there when you were born and to God be the glory I have not missed a day of you growing up into this amazing and wonderful little girl. You make me laugh, you have made me cry and you made me fall deeper in love with you day by day. You sang your first solo by the Clark sister’s Livin’ your Best Life! And I wholeheartedly agree that we are little one. I pray that my life is long so that I may see you finish school, college, get married, have children of your own. But most of all love and watch how you will serve the Lord, the way you do know.

Blessed birthday Valerie Desiree Johnson and may God give you many more my love. Always my love Nana.

“Your Healing Process Is Up To You!”

Over the past several weeks on my spiritual grandmother’s prayer line we have been speaking on healing! And even though we have had several dynamic and powerful speakers to the word. The Lord told me to tell you that, your healing process is up to you! So the word of God says that we must be hearers of the word, but also doers of the word. So that means we must began to apply the word of God to our daily walk with Christ Jesus.

This word has come to not only speak to you but to impact you to a resolution to what ails you. I heard a powerful testimony from one of the sister’s in our church yesterday that stated they doctor’s said she had cancer. And even though they said she had this horrible disease on the inside of her, that the Jesus on the inside was greater than any disease. And she testified that she would not succumb to this disease because the word of God says, He was wounded for transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement (what Jesus endured. corporal punishment) FOR PEACE was upon Him, and by His stripes we are HEALED. Is. 53:5

See the only true way that we are going to be healed and walk in our own miracle is that we must:

  1. We must have a TRUE & UNWAVERING MINDSET: Ps. 115:12-13 says, The Lord hath been mindful of us: He bless us; He will the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron. He will bless those who fear the Lord, Both small and great. *And he told me He can bless your house if you let him.
  2. We must repent! Luke 13:3 says, I tell you, no; but unless you repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
  3. . Be mindful of what speak over ourselves & others: Prov. 18:21 says, Death and life are in the power of the tongue. And those who love it will eat its fruit. *Simplified whatever things you speak they shall began to manifest themselves in your everyday life.
  4. Our heart must change: Matt. 34-35 says, Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things, But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgement. *What’s is truly on the inside of you will surely come out, if you have not truly had mindset change; repented; and watch what you speak to self and others. You will miss you blessing as well as your healing. Our hearts will tell the true story eventually.
Let the healing process begin

Love Is & Is Not…..

2 Corinthians 13:4-8 and 13

Today is the day where will all celebrate that special someone with flowers, chocolates, candlelit dinners, cards and so on. However this is a manmade day and it is a day that is okay, however should love just be celebrate with promotion love? Our should it be celebrated everyday?

2 Corinthians 13:4-8 and 13 (AMP) says, Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked (not overly sensitive and easily angered); it does not take into account a wrong endured. It does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth (when right and truth prevail.) Love bears all things (regardless of what comes), believes all things (remaining steadfast during difficult times), endures all things (without weakening.) Love never fails (it never fades not ends.) But as for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for the gift of special knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part (for our knowledge is fragmentary and incomplete.) And now there remain: faith (abiding trust in God and His promises), hope (confident expectation of eternal salvation), love (unselfish love for others growing out of God’s love for me), these three (the greatest choicest graces); but the greatest of these is love.

On this day find someone to show this Godly love to. Love is an action word and sometimes we forget to show the “Love of God”. I know that this day is for a chosen one, but your love shown to someone (a stranger) else just might save a life, make them change their mind on a negative thought, let them know that they are not alone. Try and post your response or comments to my post to tell me how your love change someone’s day.

Happy Love Day Everyone!!! Know that I love you unconditionally.

Faith As a Mustard Seed…

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove; nothing shall be impossible to you. Matt. 17:20

Well who what have thought that the day would come when my daughter and I would have relationship and bond that has surpassed both of our understanding? It surely was not I.

I will not bore you with the long story on how we got here I will just tell you about the here and now. My family has been going through a great ordeal over the last three months and it has been more than a notion for us to pull together as one. My daughter and I have seen our days of not getting along for one reason or another, BUT GOD! See I am a praying woman, a praying mother, and grandmother and a soon to be wife. In December of 2018 I had to have surgery to have my left shoulder to be replaced and as I sit here and write I am still on medical leave. In this time God has forged a great alliance and great love between my daughter and myself that has blown my mind. The Bible tells that all we have to have is the FAITH OF A MUSTARD SEED. And even though at times my faith wander or it felt like it alluded me, I never gave up on having a true relationship with my one and daughter.

We still have greater hills to climb, obstacles to move and hurdle to jump over but it is nothing that the unconditional love of mother and daughter cannot accomplish when God is the forerunner of the race.

If you are a mother and you have children please keep the faith and don’t give up on your offspring just yet because God has a greater plan than you can even imagine.

Let The Haters Hate

Don’t despise the haters they are there to launch you into your destiny.

I happen to be in my local Walmart the other day and as I was checking out I notice an employee was having a heated discussion with the lead manager on duty. She was telling her that another employee should mind her own business. As I was walking out of the door I saw this beautiful young black woman that was furious and I heard the Lord say to me go and tell her to let her haters hate.

See what I learned over the years in this life is that you have more secret enemies in your perimeter than you think. Even when you feel like you are a good person. The way that you learn to deal with the haters, the naysayers is to STOP TRYING TO PLEASE PEOPLE! Please, God! You will never please everyone and when you try they will continue to suck the very essence of life out of you. Pleasing God is so much simpler. God is the reason that you move and still have your being. He will never fail you, leave you or forsake you. The haters in your life will launch and push you into the person God intended you to be in this walk we call LIFE! So let the hate, they are going to do it anyway. You don’t have to be them, just be the person God created you to be.

You Are Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

NIV: Ps. 139:14- I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Too many times in our life we base who we and who we should be by the opinions of others. In the word of God in this verse, the Lord says that we are fearfully and wonderfully made in the one that created us. God created only one of you and he made you the way He made you. We live in a society where we see on the tv, in magazines & books that state we are supposed to look a certain way.

I have come to let you know that there is greatness in you. You are the apple of God’s eye and don’t anyone else tell you otherwise. You can be all that you chose to be in this life. I come to tell that many people will judge you by the outside cover that you are wearing. But I like to look at the external where the heart is of people it where truth lies.

So today I want you to know that you are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of your creator.
